Women's Representation is an attempt to introduce a holistic approach to our community to implement the right of women for representation in public sphere and decision making cycles in our society. The project seeks to address its message to different target groups in our society aiming to change social attitudes and norms that exclude women from the public sphere and tends to deprive them the right to be full partners, citizens involved in forming and leading the general decisions in the society.

WAV is seeking a coordinated action by civil society in the area of women's rights and equality between men and women. Through this project WAV is involving all sectors of civil society that are key bodies to influencing equal participation of women in civil society: follow up committee (a representative body of all Arabic affairs in Israel), political parties in parliament, women leaders and other feminist organizations, the men of our society.

The initiative of this project is reaching groups of women seeking higher ranked positions in decision making. Women seeking this project are being guided, offered the required counseling, provided the qualifications they need thought their journey. On the other hand, the staff and coordinator are promoting the representation of women and placing this ability and necessity in front of the decision makers' i.e. political parities and the Higher Follow up Committee, to become among the priorities and top agendas of solving women's issues and insure butter representation of women. Working documents prepared by the staff has continuously illustrated the current situation of women, required issues to be addressed, and demands from the ministries and political parties in order to promote women's issues including women's representation.
